About The Series
The Cotswold Cup has firmly raised the bar for unaffiliated eventing…
Having noticed a huge gap in the unaffiliated eventing market for well-run, quality, friendly events with the highest of safety standards, a group of experienced, enthusiastic, professional event organisers (and eventing super fans) got together and, in 2021 The Cotswold Cup was born.
Every one of our qualifying venues must comply with a strict set of contracted standards, meaning competitors can enter secure in the knowledge that they will be presented with an event run by a friendly and welcoming team, with good ground and the highest standards of both safety and presentation.
Every qualifier will provide the same prize money, in addition to any other prizes they may choose to individually offer.
There are 80cm, 90cm and 100cm classes at every qualifying event with a junior section in each. And a number of venues will be running 70cm classes too!
Welcoming the top tier of competitors from the qualifiers, the 2026 Championships will, once again be run as a three day event (Juniors will compete over two days) at the beautiful Cirencester Park.
Qualification for the prestigious 70, 80, 90 and 100cm Championships is achieved via points accumulation. The same horse and rider combination collects points throughout the season for 1st – 10th placings with double clears also adding to your tally!

We have secured a substantial prize pot worth over £17,500 including cash prizes down to 10th place for the Seniors and a whole heap of additional prizes for the Juniors who will also compete for the chance to win a spot on our 2026 Winners’ Day where they get to train with, not one, but TWO top riders too.
